  5. As part of a special agreement with Sams Publishing, Aimtech is pleased to present you 
  6. with a free trial version of Jamba for Windows 95/NT, our new Java authoring software. 
  7. Jamba is an object-oriented, visual authoring tool for creating interactive, media-rich Java 
  8. applets, adding multimedia and interactivity to your website.  The applets created with 
  9. Jamba can be delivered on any Java supported platform using any Java supported browser 
  10. with no plug-in required!

  12. In developing Jamba, Aimtech has adopted industry standards in all parts of the authoring 
  13. and playback environment.  For playback, Jamba uses the Java Virtual Machine, 
  14. leveraging the advantages of Java.  Jamba can be extended with native Java or JavaScript 
  15. methods using JambaÆs Java Extension Object. Advanced users can use Jamba as a way 
  16. to quickly prototype and develop Java applets. JambaÆs object model is the standard 
  17. ActiveX Control, which allows Aimtech to quickly and easily expand the capabilities of 
  18. Jamba while allowing developers to customize and extend the product by creating their 
  19. own Active X controls.

  21. Once installed the Jamba Trial version is valid for 30 days or 100 uses, whichever comes 
  22. first.  The expiration of the Jamba Trial version will not affect any of the applets created
